To build the best VR rhythm game ever
We're 2 guys working on Spell Beat, a VR rhythm game where music is your weapon.
Right now, it’s just the two of us, but our roadmap dreams are the Roguelite Mode and Co-op Raid Bossfights.
To get there faster, but mainly at the crispy quality that we are imagining, we will eventually need more experienced creators who want to help us bring this vision to life.
The Main Roles We’re Looking For:
A) Backend / General Programmer
B) VFX / Technical Artist
C) 3D Artist
Areas Where We’ll Need Help:
1) Backend Development → data storage, databases, authentication, security
2) UI Programming → professional UI logic and behavior
3) Modding Support → designing modding systems and a stable API
4) Internal Tooling → creating and polishing tools for creating Spell Beat content
5) VFX Art → spells, wands, UI, and all kinds of magic VFX
6) Technical Art → asset optimization, shaders, VR performance
7) UI / UX Design → cohesive, intuitive interfaces that fit our world
8) Environment Art → creating magical, optimized VR arenas in Unity
9) 3D Art → modeling and texturing wands, characters, and enemies
10) Animation → character animation and face rigs
11) Beatmapping → crafting fun, readable, music-driven charts
12) Community Management → running socials and Discord
13) Marketing → making viral, engaging Spell Beat content
14) QA / Playtesting → spotting hidden frustrations in gameplay
15) Promotional Graphics → Steam & Meta capsules, social visuals
16) Video Editing / Motion Graphics → trailers, teasers, and showreels
